Cameron has left me on the west coast to fend for myself. But, he left behind his camera with all his memories from the trip. I grabbed some to post on my flickr. I look forward to seeing that kid's face again soon.

So, I think I'm going to post up the montage this week. You know, the one that I've been talking about for too long now. RJ found an after effects I could use, so I could finish that bad boy up. Thanks RJ!

the road to raleigh.

justin, rorey, eric, and myself left asheville yesterday afternoon for raleigh, nc. we stopped in hickory so justin could try and skate this handrail. little did we know the rail was at a college where they taught the students to kick out skateboarders...sketchy. long story short, we left without a trick and headed to ty rhode's in winston-salem.

ty treated us to a nice mini-ramp sesh and put us up for the night (thanks ty!). this morning we piled our belongings into the wagon and explored the streets of raleigh.

justin and eric from push are skating in the battle of the shops contest tomorrow, lets hope they survive the nightlife.

houston. heads.

We crashed at Nate's friend, Mike Holloway's house while staying in Houston, TX. He recently finished up on his driveway quarter pipe, and we all had a night of skating with the Houston Heads. "it's in! oh my God, it's in!"

I'll be posting up a couple clips, randomly, from the time I was home filming with everyone.

This is the first one.
The spot is right under an over pass, with the landing going right into an exit ramp off I-24. It was a super windy night, and it crossed my mind about putting the lights in a better place. It was so hectic that I just set it up to get out quick since I didn't know how long we would get. Bad move. As soon as Chris got it, you see what happens.

To Chris: Thanks for all the awesome times while I was home, on and off the board. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

no soldier left behind!

We made it to Hollywood the other night. Nate, Cameron, I are getting settled into the apartment. It was an abrupt change in plans on the trip, due to hometown anxiety/homesick for Nate. I think he started to miss being around the chaotic city.

No big deal though, snapped off a few while we were on the road, but not before getting this big guy from FedEx.

bloggin'

Pressed for time on packing, I kind of blew it on having a montage ready. Apologies sent to those who were waiting. I'll have it up as soon as I can. Right now, Cameron, Nate and I have made our way out to Houston, TX. Not before making a new toy, and adding on to the car. So far the stay has been awesome, hanging out with Nate's buddies and posting up at the local shop. Thanks to Mike for the dollies!
