Wassup on Youtube?!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

As the final hard copies of "Wassup My Nooga?!" are selling in shops, Josh and I have been stacking mini-dv tapes head high and chipping away at rough edits for Comfort Skateshop's first full-length film. Stay tuned! In the meantime, you can click around on the individual parts from "Wassup My Nooga?!" and Matt Swinsky's vimeo page . He has uploaded sections from his project with Matt Creasy, "The VHS Tape".

This time last year...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

...Comfort Skateshop's doors had just opened for business, Wassup My Nooga had just premiered, and the winter seemed a little less harsh. What hasn't changed is the countless skatepark sessions, and a little documenting to go along with them. Here's to many more years of skateboarding and good business!

stay awake.

If you haven't already seen Emerica's newest video STAY GOLD, run down to your local shop and grab a copy. Don't forget to watch the bonus features, you will find a couple familiar faces throughout the flow section. Elsewhere in Tennessee, Knock On Wood skateboards has two new graphics that are made to shred! Also, Comfort Skateshop's one year anniversary party is this Saturday, November 13th. Don't forget the after party!

October 2010 montage; Sklog feature.

The Skateboard Mag featured our site in their sklog column in the 81st issue of their magazine. They hit the shelves today, so go grab a copy from your local skate shop! This is a collection of footage that Josh and I have put together since the summer. We're about to settle in for the winter, bundle up, and keep things moving. Enjoy and stay posted!

western limbo.

MIKENDO_FACE

While Cameron has been out west, we've been spending some time at Mikendo's.
With ants in his pants to skate, Cameron finds himself pushing around the freshly fixed driveway.

Enjoy the Fod!

PUSH.

I've been involved with Push Skateshop's video project for half of it's three year movement. People came and went, stayed and lived, they even managed to film tricks. But for some reason passing company and old friends keep coming back.

There's a constant in Asheville, North Carolina and it's the relationships between the young people and the "old" people that share a commonality in skateboarding. That is what this video represents. I'll be posting information on the premiere this coming weekend.
