in Taoist philosophy, Yin and Yang are used to decribe seemingly opposing forces being interconnected in nature and how they give rise to each other. Yang represents everything positive while Yin is characterized as negative. One is not better than the other, instead they are both necessary and a balance of both is highly desirable.

Skateboarding has been great to me for the past week! I've just started to skate again, so I've been spending a lot of time at the skatepark with everybody. After getting bored with my own skating, I pointed the camera around a little!
Jim has been filming lines far before my time, so he wanted to make sure a couple of these didn't go unseen. Ross and the NOLO crew don't seem to have any trouble stacking footage either. Original tennskater, Mark Stewart has been busy creating & skating with some of the greatest in the game. Hyped mate!
Matt Sharer has been ripping in Nashville for as long as I can remember, and much longer than that. His part from Knock On Wood's: Pop Culture is online. Give it a view!
Hartman and I had a fun stay with James this past week in Miami. We got to skate a ton of great spots and enjoy the most temperate winter experience possible. Here's some of what we skated, and a little of what we witnessed! Thanks James & Jerica!
Chattanooga has received some bad publicity in the national news; Gang violence has gotten out of control at the coolest club in town. I say shoot 'em up! We may do a little shooting too...
Starting out 2012 on the right foot; Knock on Wood has been releasing their second video, Pop Culture in individual sections! Check out Kaleb & Miles, Andy, George, Casey, and the Chattanoogans. Also, Comfort Skateshop celebrated their second anniversary with an event at the Chattanooga Skatepark. I spent the past weekend in Maryland with the Burton family for Chris's 21st birthday. We skated the busy city of Washington D.C. twice during our stay, and this is some of what went down!
